Shutters Over The Fireplace
I recently picked up four shutters from Good Will and think this might be a cute use for them, especially considering I'm not likely to put a TV up there anytime soon. It would need to be a different color, though!

Argyle Yarn Christmas Wreath
Oh goodness, I love this wreath. So classic and fun at the same time. I wonder how much yarn it would take, though?!

Mismatched Red Chairs
Oh goodness I'm in love with these chairs! I'm slowly building a collection painted in my favorite Rustoleum Colonial Red.
Here's a shot of the some pretty colored chairs that I took in Greece. It's unconventional but I love it!

We have tons of boring block wall. I wonder how something like this would look in my back yard?

Color Coordinated Lockers
Oh goodness it's been a while since I posted any inspirational pictures! Well, I've been working hard actually making things in my house. Today I saw this target ad when I went to watch an episode on ABC and absolutely loved this frame with the color organized lockers. We could totally do this at our house- red for me of course, Blue for Ben, Orange for Will, and Kate (by my forced assignment) in PINK! Maybe in the garage someday, as a makeshift mudroom!

Towel Rack from a Quilt Rack
I love this idea to use a quilt rack for a towel rack. They are a dime a dozen at GoodWill. Easy, cheap, high impact!

My mom almost has enough white pitchers to do this. I love the repetition and simplicity- so pretty!

Blue Bathroom Inspiration
This picture reminded me instantly of my bathroom, or at least my vision for it. We already have the blue walls and white accessories going- it's time to dress it up!

This blog is new to me and I love it! We're still getting into regular chores with my little man but I love this idea.
Little girl shirt dress for summer
Oh I have visions of my little Katie baby flitting around in something sweet and comfy like this! I love the bow on top and the contrasting colors. So sweet.

Toy Organizaition
I snapped this yucky cell phone picture in the basement of Corn Wagon Quilt Co. in Utah last week. I looked at it (and after I could stop staring at the beautiful red) and thought, "There has to be a toy storage correlation here." I'm still hunting for the perfect way to organize the toys and keep them looking great, minimized, and functional for the kids. Suggestions would be appreciated!

Sewn Mail Organizer
I've been looking for a new way to organize my bills. Right now, stacked up on my desk in piles, then occasionally filed away compactly isn't really cutting it (particularly since my desk is in the master bedroom!) I'm so impressed she MADE this- it's beautiful!

PB Priscilla Day Bed
This bed from Pottery Barn is so dreamy and relaxing. Ana has plans to make it at Knock Off Wood. Wow.

Expedit Love
My cousin has Expedits in both of her kids' rooms. They're awesome and I want one of my own. She just let me know the 4 x 4 is now only $99 and I'm thinking I need it. I love this photo from Apartment Therapy. I love/hate my vaulted ceiling in my family room since I feel like I have this one, huge empty high wall that needs more love. I think I would love this. Not sure about my husband, though!

Fairy Door
Oh my goodness... I think these little doors were invented for my cousins. I wish I had the cash to buy one for each of my favorite girlies, they would love this! I love the unfinished option, too, to make it just how you like it (let's be honest here, I'd just buy the red or maybe pink if I were feeling fancy, no need for me to paint my own).
Too cute.

I might have to do this for myself when my primary bag finally dies. So sweet and pretty!

Red Velvet Cupcakes in a Jar
What is it about Red Velvet Cake that just gets people excited? I mean, I'm one of those people since we had it as our wedding cake. Anyways, I'm going to make these Red Velvet Cupcakes in a Jar next time I have a party. I think people would flip out, really.
Update- I made them! So fun!
Ruffle Skirt
I think this skirt is so pretty and fresh. I would feel like a total dork wearing it, though. Maybe for Kate!

More Silouettes
I love these black frames- I'd to paint one white for our nursery. I think it looks so pretty with the silouette. And I think I'm in love with Belle Maison.

My new chair from GoodWill looks a lot like the one on the right. Really. I need to paint it and think this house is great inspiration.

This chair redo reminds me so much of my own French chair. She makes it look easy, too... someday we'll tackle the reupholstering!

Kids have so much stuff- I love the idea to keep things tucked away like this. And with Knock Off Wood's simple, foolproof plans, I hope to have some of these eventually!
Grograin Ribbon Wreath
I've been eyeing this wreath for a while and think a nice springy color might make an appearance on my front door soon.

Monogram Cookies
Sweetopia is seriously talented. Wow. These monogrammed cookies are made by piping the monogram onto a sheet of parchment, with the printed design underneath. Then top the piped shape (use royal icing or melted candy melts) with nonpareil sprinkles, let set, and use to decorate.
Absolutely gorgeous.

Stamped Spoons as Herb Markers
I'm happy to find another use for my metal jewelry stamps, especially since I love herbs and can actually grow them.
from Monkeys Always Look's Etsy Shop
Update: this will NOT work on stainless spoons (I should have known but certainly didn't). I ruined my stamps trying! I'll have to find a softer metal!

Hooked Shelf
I don't really need a coat (much less a rack, remember that scene in Wayne's World?) in sunny Arizona but I want to make one of these for my bathroom. It's so pretty. That remodeling guy is so tricky.

Here's another girlie project- fabric flowers from 100 Layer Cake. I love the soft colors and textures and can't wait to make some for me and my sweet babe.
Bows for Girls
Thank goodness I have a little girl because I used to get seriously upset by all the ridiculously cute dresses at the mall. I'm sure these hair clippies would have the same effect. I can't decide which I like the most, they're all so fun and creative! Check out Funky Polkdot Giraffe on etsy.

Kids Table and Chairs
This kids table has me dreaming! I've been thinking about it since I first saw it and think I'm finally going to be able to have my own. I found a pretty similar rectangular table and I'm going for it as soon as I get the cast off my sanding hand. I love the white but think I might do red. Either should be so fun for my little guy!
