Shutters Over The Fireplace

I recently picked up four shutters from Good Will and think this might be a cute use for them, especially considering I'm not likely to put a TV up there anytime soon. It would need to be a different color, though!

Mismatched Red Chairs

Oh goodness I'm in love with these chairs! I'm slowly building a collection painted in my favorite Rustoleum Colonial Red.

Here's a shot of the some pretty colored chairs that I took in Greece. It's unconventional but I love it!

Painted Block Walls

We have tons of boring block wall. I wonder how something like this would look in my back yard?

Towel Rack from a Quilt Rack

I love this idea to use a quilt rack for a towel rack. They are a dime a dozen at GoodWill. Easy, cheap, high impact!

Little girl shirt dress for summer

Oh I have visions of my little Katie baby flitting around in something sweet and comfy like this! I love the bow on top and the contrasting colors. So sweet.

Another Chair

My new chair from GoodWill looks a lot like the one on the right. Really. I need to paint it and think this house is great inspiration.

Girl's Shirt from a Men's Top

I love this men's shirt turned into a sweet, pleated girls top. So fun.

Stamped Spoons as Herb Markers

I'm happy to find another use for my metal jewelry stamps, especially since I love herbs and can actually grow them.

from Monkeys Always Look's Etsy Shop

Update: this will NOT work on stainless spoons (I should have known but certainly didn't). I ruined my stamps trying! I'll have to find a softer metal!

Kids Chair and Chandelier

Isn't this room fresh and pretty? I love the colors, especially the chandelier and the rocking chair. So fun.

Kids Table and Chairs

This kids table has me dreaming! I've been thinking about it since I first saw it and think I'm finally going to be able to have my own. I found a pretty similar rectangular table and I'm going for it as soon as I get the cast off my sanding hand. I love the white but think I might do red. Either should be so fun for my little guy!

Happiness is a Choice

Cluck Cluck Sew makes such amazing quilts that I'm constantly emailing my mom her awesome stuff. And thinking I should have taken a sewing class in college (really, I think I was in TOO BIG of a hurry to graduate! More photography and cooking classes I keep thinking about!) She just redid this buffet and filled it with, of course, gorgeous quilts. I especially love the sign- "We tend to seek happiness when happiness is actually a choice." Wise words!

Easy Reusable Bags (from Tees!)

Who doesn't have tons of old t shirts lying around? I know we have a lot that we are loathe to part with and I love this new use for them- reusable bags. I few cuts and stitches (that I could even do, I think) and you can enjoy your shirt every time you're hauling groceries. Thanks, Wild Onion Studios- I can't wait to make my own!

Wall of Plates

My mom actually emailed me this pic so I have no idea where it came from, but isn't it lovely? I'm sure my husband would think it a little busy but I think it's SO pretty. And I love her plate collection! I'm amassing my own, one at a time when the price is right, and I'm hoping to have a nice wall display soon. For now I"m going to stare on this set!

Please leave a comment if you know where this image came from- thanks!

Mismatched Chairs

I saw these mismatched chairs on Apartment Therapy and haven't stopped dreaming of them. I've been on a serious "buy it for nothing at goodwill/on craigslist and paint it white" kick and think I'm going to have my own mismatched table soon. I'd probably go with red chairs, though. Now I just need to convince my husband!
